The island
Can we stop the war? Should we try?

Stephen was playing around with his lasso when he accidentally created an inter-planar portal. Somehow, everyone was sucked into this portal, even Spectre. They all found themselves on an island inhabited by dinosaurs, primitive humanoids known as M’hite, and lizardmen.

First they found a brontosaurus (which I must note is a mythical prehistoric creature, as opposed to the T-rex which was chasing it). Then they “found” a T-rex. Rather it found them. Trillum tried to direct us all to safety, but as Sharlton Cordwin tried to sneak away from the predator, he stepped on a lizard, which squawked indignantly and quite loudly, attracting the dinosaur’s attention. Stephen then ran away from the dinosaur, encouraging it to give chase. Stephen and Sharlton Cordwin both were running at this point, but Stephen tripped and fell, ending up in the gaping jaws of the predator.

Fortunately for our intrepid adventurer, Specter had cast an illusion spell on him, making him smell (and taste) like very rotten meat. He was quickly spat out. Thanks to some distraction provided by Trillum and the cat, the dino trotted out in a different direction, after some illusionary prey.

But then they discovered a short man dressed in hides and furs hiding in a bush nearby. After introductions he fainted. After he came to they learned that a lizard chieftain was hunting the native, and the T-rex was just his pet hunting dog. The native helped them to return to his village, or what was left of it after repeated lizardman attacks.

The natives of the village implored the adventures to help them (confusing them with nature spirits and companions), and thinking they had arrived in answer to their supplications. The lizard men were acting very aggressively since the abnormally intense spring rain. Led by their chieftain Zazzk, they had killed many of the M’hite already, and the M’hite were worried they would soon all be gone.

Sharlton Cordwin located a valuable commodity, a intricately carved wooden totem carved by the M’hite women. They seem willing to trade, but will there be any of them left when NSAID representatives next visit? Will the heroes stop the war? Should they even try to interfere with the natural development of this island?

You can't go home again

Wandering around the library, Spectre find a box with a strangely familiar marking on it

When he opens the box, everyone disappears and is transported to a futuristic city. Everyone but Spectre. They find that the city is populated by a very homogeneous group of people, with one fashion, one building style, repeating patterns seemingly endlessly. Its spooky. There is increasing pressure for our adventurers to conform to the norm here, and more disturbingly an increasing willingness to do exactly that. Eventually our heroes are herded into a reeducation center, and just when it looks like this is the end, they all find themselves back in the library.

The lost treasure of Ricodora
The greatest treasure of all

Our party (minus some, plus banshee) took shelter from a storm in a nearby cave. Lightning shook the earth and revealed a map to the legendary Lost Treasure of Ricodora. But the map was not terribly specific, and looking for it took a while.

On the way the party found a town. The inhabitants of this town were shocked to see the non-human members of the party (except the cat, who disguised herself). We passed ourselves off as traveling performers and our odd appearances as part of the act, but this did not go over too well.

Eventually our party found the entrance to the treasure vault, which turned out to be not gold but the great library of an ancient civilization, the Library of Ricodora.

Space Pirates
Piracy is more fun when you can breathe

Our characters found themselves on a plush space-liner, the Expedition. After poking each other for a bit (literally and figuratively), they moved on to exploring the ship. And trying to steal / forge each others tickets, which was more difficult because noone had a ticket.

Then the pirates came. Each character reacted differently. Trillian found she had a way with shipboard oracles. Raveek panicked and disappeared. The lady with the glasses went looking for a snack, and we know not what she did from there.

The ghost began to fight off the pirates, causing great consternation with his incorporeal nature. The pirates first method of solution to pretty much every problem was to shoot it. When that didn’t work, they shot some more. The ghost eventually found a way to shut them up. Can’t keep shooting when you can’t breathe.

The cat and Trillian came up with a clever plan. They snuck on to the pirate’s ship and convinced the pirate’s (through magic and some persuasive conversation with the pirate’s “oracle”) that the police were on their way.

The pirates fled back to their ship, and our adventures found their way back to the liner, where Trillian’s new-found skills found them excellent rooms for the duration of their stay.
